Good Little Frame September 24, 2008 Robert Hendry (Bristol) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this frame the other week and could not be happier. Im not really a computer of technology person, so this was right up my street. You just plug it in, turn it on, put your card in the side and it just plays your photos. I dont think it does much else, and if you are looking for a more complicated frames I would suggest a bigger frame, but for under 40 this frame does exactly what it says it does.
Great Little Frame September 23, 2008 Ian Terry (London) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Considering im only playing 39 for a digital photo frame I think i've got a good buy here. It is dead simple to use. You put in your memory card into the frame and it starts showing the photos that are on the card. cannot be simplier. The manual may need extra work, if there was much else to the frame. These are pretty simple creatures, and a 5 year old could use them. No remote control, but looks much nicer than the white plastic version ive seen on the internet. This will be my top tip for the credit crunch
What a let down!! September 16, 2008 J. Keyes (Norfolk, UK) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I couldn't wait to get this frame set up and start enjoying my pictures but it wasnt to be! The frame is very fussy with the SD cards you use and does or does not work on a whim for no apparent reason so we spent hours with a blank screen. The manual is terrible and tells you next to nothing about what to do if you have a problem. The picture quality is pretty bad and you have to adjust (rotate etc) pictures before setting them up on the frame which takes ages and distorts them. It doesnt have an "off" button so you have to pull the actual plug out otherwise you're left with a wire that is "live" and not connected to the frame which then limits where you can put the frame due to access! I indeed paid the price of the appealing cost of this item and should have trusted my instincts...buy cheap, buy twice! My frame is now winging its way back to Amazon and I'm off into town to look at some makes that I've actually heard of. You definately get what you pay for with this!
