Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
8", Shrub Rake, Lightweight Aluminum With Longer Handle To Reduce Back Fatique, Curved Tines, Hand Friendly Teardrop Shaped Handle, Arrow Tipped Tines & Beveled Edges.

Amazon.com Product Description
The Fiskars 8-inch shrub rake features a nearly-unbreakable rake head made from virgin resin, and extra-wide tines. The unit's tines exhibit a gentle curve that rakes shrubs easily while not disturbing grass or ground cover, and the narrow 8-inch head allows you to easily rake between and around shrubs and plants. The sturdy aluminum shaft is lightweight for ease of use, and is also teardrop-shaped for ergonomic comfort. The long handle also reduces back fatigue by allowing you to use the rake at a proper angle.

5 out of 5 stars great gardeners rake   November 24, 2008
Marena (Woolwich, ME United States)
With it's extra-long lightweight handle and well designed tines, this has quickly become a favorite tool. The tines minimize damage to plants, are good at raking leaves out of evergreen shrubs, and reaches easily into the back of flower beds. Am thinking of buying the wider version, because this one works so well.

5 out of 5 stars Great Rake   September 5, 2008
Tamie (Texas)
Hard to believe you could get excited about a rake but this one really is great for those hard to reach spots. We also have the larger rake and love it as well. Both rakes are very light weight and have nice long handles so you don't have to stoop. We have several Fiskar garden tools and plan to get more. They are all very well made, quality products.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect companion to the 24" rake   September 1, 2008
Michael P. Kukielka (Rochester Hills, MI USA)
I bought this along with the 24" Fiskar rake and carry both of them where I go in the garden. Like the 24" rake, the design is very light with an oblong handle designed for better grip and orientation. The tines are very flexible and are useful at a wide range of angles unlike most rakes.

Although this is called a shrub rake, it's useful for a variety of garden projects, such as raking the edge of borders, sculpting the mulch around plants, or sweeping fine garden debris from the lawn into a dust pan.

The only drawback with the Fiskar rake is its flexibility which means it can't be used to scrape the ground or move light soil around like I am able to do with my stiffer shrub rakes. However this makes it ideal for gently combing your plants.

Overall, I believe every fastidious gardener could use this product.

4 out of 5 stars Fiskars 8-Inch Shrub Rake #9661   August 8, 2008
spooky (N.J. USA)
Very light, very handy under tight spaces and you don't have to spear this thing like bigger and heavier rakes, just reach it out and put it down, pull the claw back and towards you with a little elegance in your posture, too bad though the claw are too thin and it bounces more than I wanted from time to time. Other than that, the design of the claw really works.
