Good product January 6, 2009 Gadget Lover (Elgin, IL) This product lived up to my expectations. It was purchased because I slipped on the ice last year and fell on top of my 12 pound pekingese. So far this year he is completely undamaged by any similar event. It was worth the investment.
They really work! December 30, 2008 P. Shaffer (Southern Illinois) After the first freezing rain this winter, it took me forever to walk on the parking lot and sidewalks to work. That night, I ordered Yaktrax. They arrived quickly, and the next week, more ice! What a difference! I could walk across the pavement with no fear of falling. Take them off before walking on shiny indoor floors, though.
Yaktrax's are the best October 26, 2008 Michael Dennison (Yosemite National Park, CA, USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Yaktrax's are unbeatable. They give the greatest traction in all icy conditions. I run a high mountain camp and have tried many ice traction devises. In icy conditions, CAUTION, is always the most important factor, no matter what the devise. In walking indoors all devises can be hazardous, it depends on the care you use while walking. My staff and I have used Yaktrax's for years. For inside staff, regular Yaktrax's are the best. They put them on to walk from their cabin or car to the office and pop them off once inside. For my outside staff, the Yaktrax Pro's can't be beat. They are rugged and don't ware out. The strap over the front of the boot keeps them in place in most situations. When coming inside it is best and easiest to slip the boots off and to step into indoor shoes. For long Life - take a little time - when putting "Trax's" on, make sure they slip into the grooves in the soles of the boots and if the end of a spring starts to catch, use a pair of pliers to squeeze it back into place. The Yaktrax Pro's I have on now have lasted me for three years and counting.
DOES WHAT IT SAYS! April 10, 2008 Twobearbill (Weyerhaeuser, Wisconsin United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is one of those rare products that delivers exactly what it promises. I even TRIED to slip on glare ice, and could not do it. Easy on and off, light and efficient. I cannot afford to fall, following major back surgery - and with Yaktrax Walkers I walk anytime, every day, no matter the weather or walking surface. I even bought a pair for my neighbor, who had fallen before -- but never again due to ice. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful invention! They make walking on ice and snow much easier. I bought these for my husband and I plan to purchase a pair for myself.
