Product Description Whether you're looking for a light hiking boot or something warm and waterproof for snowshoeing, Keen's Growler is a great boot for cold weather play. The flexible mesh and leather upper features an eVENT waterproof barrier that helps keep your feet dry through snow, mud and rain-soaked meadows. The Growler has a dual-climate carbon rubber outsole that offers excellent traction on frozen and damp surfaces. Like many Keen shoes, you can remove the metatomical footbed and add your own custom orthotic--but check out the exceptional support in this well-crafted boot before making any extra modifications.

Good boots December 14, 2008 V. Lukiyanchuk I bought this boots for my brother that lives in Ukraine. He says he likes the quality. He had to walk about 1 hour through the rain and had his foots warm and dry at the end. He likes the style less than quality, but I guess those preferences are very personal.
Another great boot by Keen October 30, 2008 James A Daenicke (Wisconsin, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these boots mostly for snowshoeing this winter. I did wear them on a motorcycle color ride up here in the northwoods when it was in the low 30's one morning. My feet were happy, never cold and comfortable all day long. Walking around they were very comfortable. Now the real test will be when snow comes. I am sure that I will like them for snowshoeing. How can you not, "There Keen's" I own 6 or 7 differnt pair of Keen. I really like them all and would continue to buy them. In my opinion, they are the most comfortable, funtional shoes you can buy and they look good too!
Great winter boots! February 17, 2008 G. Frenz 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These boots are everything I hoped for! I've worn them in snow when the temperatures were below 10 degrees Fahrenheit for several hours at a time and still had warm feet!
