It's defective November 23, 2008 A. F. (Elk Grove, CA USA) I called Verizon tech support to find out why I couldn't transfer music to my phone, LG VX8350R, and to find out why my phone kept shutting down. The card could not format, I could not save music to it, it interfered with the phone, it kept shutting down, and my computer kept locking up when I inserted the card and then could not not use the "safely remove hardware" feature either. I had to return it as defective.
it does what it supposed to do November 22, 2008 A. Ghebremicael a couple of weeks since i received the SD card. I bought it for a camera use and it is working so far.
Kingston Quality November 21, 2008 Jimbo (Texas) Problem free. I use this in my Kingston MobileLite USB adapter and they work well with every computer I've plugged them in to. I also have Kingston 2GB SD, 2GB MicroSD, and 1Gb MicroSD, all have performed problem free.
Kingston 8GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Card SD6/8GB November 20, 2008 E. Holt (Indianapolis, Indiana) Kingston has made extremely good quality flash memory products now for a number of years, and this SD card is no exception. Very fast, great value, and it "just works" -- as one would expect it to! The price of flash memory right now is amazing, and this card is a fantastic value. My first memory card, 4 years ago, cost 9x as much yet had 16x less space than this card -- and was tremendously slower. Simply amazing. Anyway, you can't go wrong with Kingston CF or SD cards. Just buy it!
Write failure November 19, 2008 R. Stevens (Capital City UT)
This card insists that it's write protected regardless of where I put the little switch. I do not have this problem with any of my other SD cards in sizes from 64mb to 4gb. It's going back.
