These pads I use for my 16 year old dying cat who has kidney failure. He refuses to get into the litter box because when he was first diagnosed he had a urinary tract infection and everytime he went to the bathroom it hurt so he relates the box with hurting even though he is no longer in pain because the antibotics cleared it up. Unfortunately, they can't clear up his kidneys. I put these in front of the box and he goes on them every day. This is the only pad I have found that does not leak. I have tried all of them even the ones that say leak proof. Not one of them is leak proof. This pad because of the gel it absorbs the liquid so it doesn't leak through. I have purchased several 25 packages of these and they really are the best pad out there. I just wish I could buy a bigger quanity for a cheaper price.

Although the size is clearly indicated in the description, I have since discovered that even for a very small puppy this size isn't sufficient. We have a two pound yorkiepoo and this size pad is not recommended by me if you are going to leave your dog alone even for only a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend the next size up, as we have found that our little yorkie"POO" can make quite a mess in just a short while. They have to step onto the pad, and once they have eliminated once, they will step in whatever is already there as the pad is not as absorbant as I would have wanted.

These pads work great and were very affordable. They are small, but they fit the holder that I have, which is a different brand. I would reccomend these.

My stay-at-home dachshund and Yorkie are very spoiled for cleanliness and these wee-wee pads hold more moisture with no scent than the cheaper brands. I find it very convenient to have a latrine at home and use about one or two pads per 24 hours for back-up bathroom purposes. The small size is fine for small dogs and the price is very good in this package format.
