BLURRRRRR BAD January 8, 2009 M. baronian 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I did not like this camera at all. the pics are fuzy not sharp pictures. i got this camera because everybody gave 5 stars but this camera is not worth 5 stars to me. i think the kodak m1033 did a better job. but i just got the canon sx110 and there is a lots of difference on the cameras. get the sx110 for similar price you will be happier.
not sure yet January 7, 2009 Karen Caplan (Connecticut) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I gave my son this video camera because his audio-visual class teacher recommended it. Perhaps we are not computer-savvy enough, but we're having difficulty figuring out how to work with the camera and our PC. We do have the firewire port, which I made sure about having read the previous reviewers. The jury's still out. I am hoping my son's teacher will help us figure it out. But I can say for sure that it's not all so simple.
Canon Powershot SD790IS January 6, 2009 S. McMurtrey (denver, co usa) My brother-in-law loves this camera. It's small, and easy to use. It takes beautiful pictures.
Canon Powershot SD790 IS is very cool January 5, 2009 Anthony G. Cortes (Los Angeles, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been shopping around for a digital camera for a while, but I've always been put off by the prices. When I saw how cheap some were, I decided to finally shop around seriously. When I came across this camera, It stuck with me. Its solid construction, the big LCD screen, the face detection and Image Stabilization, 10 Mega Pixels, and customizing features at a reasonable price all appealed to me. I'm not a professional photographer, I just wanted a point and shoot camera, and let me tell you that this one goes above and beyond. My only criteria when shopping was that it be a solid camera, nice size LCD display, and 10 or above mega pixels. This one fit the bill perfectly. I actually like the flat Razr like buttons, they work great. So far, I take pictures of everything, and I love using the features like Color Swap, Color Accent, Digital Macro, and any shot you take will come out beautifully. It's also fast aswell. All in all, a great camera for the price. I actually feel its more camera for the price. Just having fun taking crystal clear pictures is enough to fork over the dough!
Read Everything January 2, 2009 B. Barnett (new jersey) So I read every review possible on all the cameras I was debating between...and this won. Boy, am I glad I chose it. It did not let me down! I am thoroughly satisfied.
